I'll compromise because I'm too impatient to wait a few days-I'll try some
dry cedar that hasnt been soaked, and if that doesnt work I'm going to ash.
Then I'll soak some to test for the next time. Although my cedar is quite
fresh, its hard to tell that its not dry wood anyway. Very unlike my green
spruce, which is obviously quite green and "wet"
