39 ribs lashed to 8 stringers and a keelson. That's 351 lashing points in the
hull alone! My first batch of ribs had grain run out and I probably broke 15
ribs before I discarded the whole batch. Then I tried to bend the ribs
without a jig using my eyes and hands, a big mistake at least for me ( at
least 20 more ribs to discard)
I then made an adjusable jig which worked quite well.
I was able to dip into my discarded rib pile when I needed to make bent shims
to help fair the ribs to the stringers.
