Yes, it was me. Go back through the list archives and you will find a more
complete description.
But you are incorrect, I tried to convince no one, I stated simple fact.
Proof of that fact is a difficult thing to demonstrate with mere words.
The FACT of the matter is, if you instrument a paddle with pressure
transducers, you will find that most of the thrust of a paddle comes for the
side facing forward. I acknowledged that the surface facing back is called
the "power face", mislabeled no doubt because of intuitive thinking. but
unfortunately when in comes to fluid mechanics, intuitive thinking often
fails because it is a much more complex than most people realize.
