Thanks for the correction. I was working from memory, and may not have
heard Cook correctly in the first place. BTW, I understand there may be
some dispute in Britain over who first built a compartmented kayak. Cook
modestly claimed to be presenting the history of sea kayaking in Britain
only as he experienced it.
