I've been considering a model for rig testing. Not sure how to make a model
to simulate an aluminum tube framed boat. Since the Gilbert Islanders seemed
to get it to work, I think if I followed their bracing idea it should be
fine. Not to mention the skin will help hold it in place.

I'm leaving to visit relatives for a few days in about half an hour, so I'll
read more, and sketch more. If all else fails I'll just go back to the
symmetrical hull. If one side comes out lumpy, that goes to weather!
