As Wolfgang mentioned I save the "Authentic" looking jacket for special
occasions such as Historical type events. Typically I paddle in a short
sleeve polypro shirt or rash guard and wood visor and only add a short
sleeve breathable jacket if it gets windy enough to need it. Surfing or
roll/rescue practice is a totally different story and I don a dry top. I
have certainly considered the Brooks tulik but will probably sew my own out
of ripstop.
