Jim,

I took a whitewater class at the local university To learn rolling. But
what really helps is access to a warm body of water where you can apply what
you see. Pool rental can be spendy, but if you get some friends to help buy
in, you can get a couple of hours of pool time at the local high school or
public facility and practice right through the winter.

Subject: [baidarka] learning to roll

Greetings,

I have built a baidarka using Brinck's book. I live in the Midwest and
lessons to learn how to roll are hard to find. I would appreciate advice on
the best books and or videos I could purchase to learn the basics of rolling
a baidarka.

                    Thanks,

                                    Jim
