Thats another reason I was ruminating about paddle length and stability.
Before my recent mini-revelation, I always wondered why caribou kayak
paddles are often so long. At any rate it has given me a "big" idea-to
bring a 10 foot or so paddle along with the 8 footer intended for it when
I launch the caribou this summer.
