This is not ignorance. I was expressing MY OPINION about MY experience with
paddling as many custom/homebuilt baidarkas and hardshells as I could
(perhaps 20 or more different ones) and several models of Kleppers, several
models of Feathercraft, several models of Folbots, several models of Pouchs,
and many many others (perhaps 40 or more all together, I have demo'ed every
folding kayak I could find, and many hard-shells too). Some were better
than others, to be sure, but MY OPINION is that NONE of the factory boats
behaved like any of the custom biadarkas. Where do you get off calling my
experience and opinion ignorance and hogwash?
Are you saying I do not know my own opinion? That you know more about my
opinion than I do?!?!
I can assure you no matter what level of clairvoyance you claim, no one
knows more about my opinion that I do. You may feel that these factory
folders resemble the performance of custom-built biadarkas, (I certainly do
not, and therefore disagree with you based on my experience). But you have
NO standing in calling my experience hogwash.
I built my first SOF kayak over 26 years ago, and have built and paddled
more than a few since then, you can take my experience for what it is worth,
but there is no reason for you use such uncalled for language.
