Thanks. I buy HDPE from a small supplier here in Denver. Regal Plastics sells
it also and depending on where you live, may have an office in your area. A
4ft X 8ft sheet ( enough for 2+ kayaks) of 1/2" is about $140.00US. I've
purchased 1", but it was remnants. The 1" is very stiff and is heavier than
plywood. HDPE is very easy to drill and cut with standard woodworking bits
and blades.
