Instead of trying to pressure cook your wood like Jule Gibbons used to do why
not try to vacuum saturate your ribs. This technique can be seen at
www.home.fuse.net/thewizard. These two guys explain the building of one of
Platt Monforts Geodesic boats. A lot of good information can be found as
well. This method is also used in dying wood for mosaic work and other
impregnation applications
