Subject: [baidarka] Lashing keel to ribs

I have built several boats and have used individual artificial sinew
lashings for each rib to keel junction. I also peg every sixth rib or so to
the keelson to prevent the keelson from shifting out of alignment. I use
floor boards in my boats and make sure to keep as much sand as possible out
of the interior and I have not had any lashing failures to date.
