Hello Mike,
Robert Morris' book "Building Skin-On-Frame Boats" offers plans for both a
"Canadian Canoe" and an "Upper Yukon River Skin Canoe", as well as other
open-top boats. I've not seen much discussion from people who've made them,
so if you do make one please post your results.
