Subject: [baidarka] Sprayskirt for Brinck baidarka?

Is there a commercially-available sprayskirt that will fit the 24" x 18" oval cockpit of a Brinck baidarka? I'd like to be able to get on the water ASAP after completion of the boat.
Also, should the lashings at the front and back of the coaming go thru the deck beams or under them? I hate to drill thru the beams if it's not necessary, but it appears that without some sort of fixed fastening, the entire coaming will be free to shift from side to side.
