Thanks Joe:
Building the frame was about 20 hrs. lashing the thing was about 20.
(individual lashings not runing as traditional) and an other 20 in the
sewing and coating. These are estimates more or les. Not including
scrounging times for material gathering most of wich I had already as left
overs from other projects around the shop. I have power tools and am well
versed in their use. planer, jointer, router big table saw etc. If you are
doing things w/ hand tools figures may vary. I realy did not keep track of
things you know, I have a chair in the shop and then there is the ocational
fatige-single-beer-induced-end-of-the-day-contemplative-moment and time
just slips away......
The pics on that link are of my first SOF. About 2 weeks later I built the
seccond improved version. About 10" shorter and a whole lot more rocker on
deck for more gracefull esthetics and an additional 10235 mistakes to learn
from!!!
