It takes me one winter.

Gather materials; in weather warm enough to make lumber yard searching
enjoyable.
Construct the frame; in cool fall working weather.
Skin the frame; indoors when it is really cold out.
Finish the skin; in spring when it is warm enough to paint outdoors.

I know this is a tough question to answer because there are so many
variables, but here goes: How many hours average do you think it takes
to
complete a Greenland kayak?

I'm planning on building one between my current sailboat which should be
done
in June and my next, which I'd like to start by August.
