I've been working on a baidarka from Wolfgang Brinckl's book since
October. I'm working close to full time, I took two college courses in
the fall and am taking one now, plus the rented garage I'm building in is
20 minutes from my house and I work nights so I can't politely go over
there at 3:00 am after work and start banging on stuff. So far I've
finished the deck frame and have almost half the ribs in. If you can
manage to give your boat two to three hours, once or twice a week, you'll
make OK progress. I think if you give it three hours twice a week you';;
really rock and roll!
