I've found that Urethane products such as Shoe Goo adhere doggedly and have
remarkable abrasion resistance. It probably won't span more than 1/4" or so
though. I've noted significantly reduced wear along the keel since I
smeared it with Shoe Goo. It takes a bit of artistry that I lack to get it
on smooth - but a slightly lumpy bottom is not detracting from my enjoyment.
BTW - what ripped holes in your boat? Pointy rocks?
