Indeed it is stretch wrap and not shrink wrap but everyone calls it shrink
wrap for some reason. probably for the same reasons that folks in my trade
refer to a lectern as a podium or why a clamp (used to attach two pieces of
pipe together) is called a "burger" merely because there is a manufacturer
by the name of "Chesborough" who makes the clamp (even though more often
than not other brands are used). When talking to folks who build boats that
know the difference between a keel and keelson I will try to be a bit more
accurate.
