I actually just wanted to know if anyone had used kuralon twine for building
boats and am not really interested in its chemical composition, however from
what I can gleen from the net, kuralon fishing nets and ropes are made from
polyvinyl alcohol. It is water soluable above 220 degrees C (428 F), and is
stable at lower temperatures and can therefore be used for rope, twine, nets
etc.

I would be happy to be corrected from someone who actually knows what they
are talking about.
