We've been meeting at the same beach, doing roughly the same thing for
about 5 years. While the beach we've been visiting is very pleasant, a
change of scenery would be nice. Additionally a midday tide is desirable,
the midday tides for June were this past weekend and the 14th. The weekend
of the 21st has low tide in the middle of the day. Moving the gathering
could also draw different attendees - and I love to try different boats ;-)
I've thought of moving the gathering closer to where I live but I don't
have a good get together beach with reasonable lodging options.
Several years ago we had rumblings of an offer to host the gathering from a
contingent in Pennsylvania but that never materialized.
