Subject: [baidarka] cockpit shape

The distance from my back brace to maslk on my frame is approximately 24
inches. This is due to an error that took place during layout. I have confirmed
that the back brace is in the correct position. The maslk is too far forward.
I desire a larger cockpit than the plans call for so the fact that it is 24"
long is preferable.
My question is: being that my cockpit frame is not round but more egg shaped
(like in a glass boat) will I encounter trouble pulling the nylon tight around
the cockpit?
