My wife and I were there in Sep 03.
Great Natural history museum.
If the whale watching boats are going out, that is well worth doing. Take
the 2 deck metal boat rather than the Zodiacs. You will see more from the
higher deck of the metal boats. Orcas are neat!
Horse drawn carriage rides are a great way to get oriented to the city.
Fast ferry from Seattle is also a great way to get there. Hope for good
weather so you can see the San Juans. We saw mostly fog, but great ride
anyway.
