Actually the urathane sticks to the nylon much better than the aluminum and
after a couple good paddles (soaking and flexing) the skin seperates from
the frame. The urathane is still stiffer than the hypalon/neoprene. I will
also throw out the observation thay while my aluminum double is stiffer than
harveys it is still much flexier than a glass boat. You can definatly feel
it and see it and it does definatly soften up the ride a bit. i have also
noticed that most of the flex (upward at least) seems to occur at the
cockpits where of course the deck stringer is missing.
