that interests you. ( See LINK). This boat was modified with 1" taller
gunwalse, plus a taller deck to accommodate larger paddlers and more gear for
touring.

X 22") design will handle your weight, and could be built longer or a little
wider if you wish. The "Sea Pup" includes a LINK for building any of
these boats as a wood frame non-folder. All are designed with a flat aft deck
for rolling. Don't let the narrow beam bother you. Even the Sea Rover (18.5"
beam ) is quite stable. Of course, you could build using aluminum /HDPE but
you have mentioned that it isn't an option. If you can build a Vans RV, then
these boats will seem like childs play.
