Subject: [baidarka] Dolphin nose

I'm currently building a Strip and glass Guillemot Great Auk and I'm
wondering if there would be any benefit adding a submerged "Dolphin
Nose" to the bow.
I'm talking about those bullet shaped protrusions on most large ships
that break the bow wave-the Modern version of the Aleut bow.
I'm thinking that there may be an efficiency benefit, but also that I
risk picking up a lot of kelp.
Any thoughts?
