I have seen these kind of pictures before, if not the same one's. This is
exactly what I was thinking. In fact, you could grow a whole hull frame by
the looks of it, but as was stated by someone else, you would need fairly
fast growing trees. Sculpting lumber into paddles and frames would be
faster and likely less work too.
