I despair. Will the politicians ever get the REAL problems facing mankind
into perspective?

Sorry - Don't mean to bring politics into all this, but it seems that the
people of the US didn't have much opportunity, yesterday, to vote for
anybody who cares about these things enough to do something about it; though
I doubt if many voters would have taken the opportunity, since very little
money is being directed at Madison Avenue on this issue, and that seems to
be what counts.

Even Queen Elizabeth (whose reign has a much longer tenure than that of any
politician) has broken her rule not to get involved in politics and has
spoken out in protest about the state of the planet. She's already
witnessed the deleterious effects of climate change on her own estates at
Sandringham and Balmoral..

Sadly, I fear it's too late already. I'm an old man, but I worry for my
descendents.
