Wolfgang:
Very nicely done. I was not aware of your website.
I do have nearly all the books you list, though I have been looking for a
copy of "La Civilisation Du Phoque", but all the ones I have seen come up
are exorbitantly priced. $300.00 and up. Any Ideas????
Arima's "Contributions" and his "Caribou Eskimo Kayak" books I was able to
obtain from an interlibrary loan program and made copies of both books for
myself, after unsuccessfully trying to locate them to purchase. CMMC was out
of both and had no plans to reprint.
Although now unavailable, you may wish to add J. Brand's LKBs to your list
as well if only simply because it is a recognized and comonly reffered to
work. (perhaps it will encourage him to reprint)
I was blessed to briefly scan through Harvey's manuscript for his upcoming
book this fall while he visited at Walden Pond and I can promise you it will
be the bible on SOF surveys for yrs to come. It is a monumental book and
Harvey has done a fantastic job. It is due out this spring.
regards:
Michael
