Wow! Lots of great advice on paddle making there! Thanks to all. I'll be
heading out looking for a likely 2x4 in the morning.
At the risk of starting another acrimonious controversy, do people think the
ridged Aleut blade has the ridge to make an exceedingly thin blade rigid,
but light? Or is it more about controlling the flow across the surface?
