They are around, but not always called crooked knives. Some carving
knives are the same or similar. The following is available at Lee

The handles of some of those models are fairly straight - crooked
knives have crooked handles. But they are a lot cheaper than most
other crooked knives on the market (like Kestrel etc).

Lee Valley products tend to be very good value.
