I've got to concur with the recent posts about list etiquette.

I've got a few gripes about recent content - but first it's very nice to
see the traffic.

When you reply to a post be sure to attribute what you are replying to.
One post that I just looked at had all of the text from a previous quote indented
nicely, but there was no attribution as to who had supplied the information that
was being replied to.

Also my requirements for this list are that discussion be civil, on topic
and non-commercial.

My benchmark for civil is that all comments should be sent worded
politely enough that your grandmother, or the 8 year old that lives next
door would not be offended if they received your email.

Now I realize not everyone's grandmother is/was a saint, but for the
civility benchmark pretend she is or was.

Removing people from the list entirely, or revoking the privilege of
contributing is quite simple, lets avoid having that happen. I could
also preread all posts for offending contributors. I don't have
time for that at present, it's something I've had to do for paddlewise
but not for this list. This list has historically been very easy for
me to run. Something I've appreciated over these past nine and a half years...
