Dear Bill,
Both are very subjective of course; By 'fast' I mean
that I can bring the kayak to a speed that feels,
well. . . .' fast.' (I am not a superstrong paddler,
and I'm sure the kayak would be faster yet with one in
it.) Easily driven is a more significant concept,
though still subjective. Essentially it suggests that
I feel the kayak accellerates easily/quickly, and
maintains a good cruising speed without a lot of
effort. In a nutshell: Efficient.
All the best,
Harvey
