Will, can't leave this without a short sheep story... my cousin was the head veterinarian in a research unit at Univ.of Wash. hospital. As such had a herd of sheep on the 7th floor of U Hospital in Seattle. Said sheep were used for the research that developed catheters that would actually stay open for more than a few hours, one of the keys to the successful use of early kidney machines. Seems one of said sheep had the new system installed and holding for a few days, researchers elated with the possibilities. Said sheep took a drink of water, forgot to take nose out of water trough, and drowned.

I am sure some apt political analogies lay within easy reach at this point in our story, but I will refrain for once.
