Thanks all for some good answers to my (above) question. I have a lot
of ideas that I want to explore in kayak making, and I just want to
make sure that things don't get 'messy' down the road.

I made a few kayaks years ago. It's interesting - they are like
living things that go out into the world. These creations stay around
for a very long time.
