Subject: [baidarka] Polyester

Hi All:
I'm wondering what the current thinking is on waterproofing polyester.
I intend an opaque finish in some sort of safety yellow or safety
orange, low toxicity if possible. A one part product would be best and
the boat will be used for 2 to three hour journeys so I'm wondering if
any latex based product would work?
Any cutting edge up to date insights severely appreciated!
Best,
David
