Sounds like a bunch of smart folks putting a lot of thought into paddle and
paddling
styles. But I wonder how much an individual paddler can *feel* the
difference? I know in
a canoe (where I have the most paddling experience), not only do I see the
differences in
stroke effeciency by speed, I can feel the difference in resistance through
the stroke and
my own fatigue. I guess I need more practice in my kayak...
