I turned on the TV while washing the dishes and Turner Classic Movies
was showing a film from the 1940s about a U-Boat Crew breaking out of a
POW camp in Canada.
49th Parallel. Nazis versus Canada.
The part they steal a float plane is an Inuit / Hudson Bay trading post
and there are many kayaks and people in traditional skin clothing. The
kayaks are quite varied and appear to be skin boats. One of them even
has a translucent bow.
