Hi Paul,
A while ago I built a PBK double-keeled folder. The width between the keels
was not enough to get even the skinniest bum between them - only about 6 or
7 inches.
In fact my sit-bones landed on top of the keels, keeping my C of G high.
With a single keel, there's somewhere, anatomically, for it to go :-0
