I never said it was the right thing to do, I only stated the reasoning
behind the relocation. Who knows if was the best action to take given
the circumstances, it would be diffcult to second guess the people on
the ground over a half a centery later. What if Imperial Japan simply
bombed all of the undefended but occupied villages? It would have been
worse. I susppose likely most of them would have been safe, we just do
not know. I do not judge their actions not having been in their place.
