Just for the record, my father showed me how to use a Slide Rule and where I
work is adjacent to a Computer Museum that contains working examples of
obsolescent computers.
People are now making soap, saddlery, coracles and kyaks for fun and some for
an attempt to live more naturally according to their beliefs. I don't think
Native Americans or Aleuts can be allowed the monopoly of a wish to save or
relearn the skills of their ancestors.
