I fitted the minicel before skining, then removed them and reinstaled w/
sikaflex caulk around the bulkhead perimeter after coating skin. it worked
reatively well, and stayed dry until a big fellow used the kayak and pushed
the forward one out of place. as far as i know the kayak is stil serving its
new owner now in Forida.
