Hmm. I built a brink baidarka with the backrest deckbeam lowered
perhaps an inch (so I could get in and out, not for rolling), and I can
do layback rolls. Not as easily as a greenland boat, but give some
power in your sweep, the thing will come up. But mine is 21" wide.
