Carlos is the first person outside of the United States to build one, 
although the mailing list has a lot of international subscribers.

 Footnotes: Carlos weighs about 76 kg (167 lbs.). During the maiden voyage the steel cable behind him loosened up. You can see a slight flexing near the waterline in the middle picture above. He reports the hardest part of the project was sewing through three layers of cloth/cordura.  |
