Craig,

Sounds nice! TRAP1: I think my biggest problem would have been
sewing the skin. As I've mentioned before, I am fortunate to have a wife
who has done a lot of work with fabric -- she was able to show me where
cuts had to be made (and not made) and certain sewing techniques to tighten
the fabric as a function of the stitch. I found that her help, coupled with
some of the pictures and suggestions in "Baidarka", enabled me to do a
fairly decent job with the covering. Does your manual cover fabric
fitting, cutting and sewing technique? TRAP2: I had a bit of difficulty
trying to figure out how to handle the cockpit rim specifically how to
attach the fabric. There were photographs and text in both Zimmerley's
book, as well as in "Baidarka" but I still didn't quite "get it". What I
wound up with works fine but I would be curious to know how you described
the final construction/fabric placement in the cockpit opening.

I'd appreciate a "beta" copy when it's ready. Thanks!
