Hi Gerald,

As you mentioned me, I'd like to explain some things that probably got mixed
up.

There are several projects I am and have been involved in.

First, I do webdesign professionally to finance my studies at University. As
part of that, I work for Ralph Hoehn's website as webmaster / Admin (and get
paid for it). I am dealing only with the technical issues, Ralph is
providing the content (except for some postings in the discussion forum).

Second, since 1997 I do some clearly non-commercial websites such as
www.pouch-inoffiziell.de and www.faltboot.de where nobody ever paid me in
money nor in "natural produces". Some people from faltboot.de (including
Ralph and me) got together to develop "Projekt Fieselschweif", dedicated to
collecting as much folding kayak related information as possible (and set up
a website for it with access for everybody to every information available
for free: you can see the German language website at
http://www.crosswinds.net/~faltboot/). This will eventually replace
faltboot.de.

This project uses the list-server mentioned by Gerald above. There has been
some discussion in the beginning of the project whether the project should
turn commercially. We decided for several reason to stay non-commercially.
There is still some thinking of editing the collected information and sell
this editing as a book / CD-ROM ... *If* we should ever have enough
information to being able to publish anything, the website with free access
to the information would still be maintained.

Third, Ralph and I decided to start a list-server on the subject of amateur
building of folding kayaks. As Ralph mentioned before, this is definitively
non-commercial and will ever be.

I know Ralph quite well (and spent a week at his place). And I am quite sure
he's very much able to differentiate between his commercial and
non-commercial involvements. So (I hope :-)) am I.

Marian
