Look what i found, a most interesting picture in a great database (Danish
museum).

Look at that magnificent stem, remember this is a model ! the sewn in tufs

Big question here; what is lying on starboard side, tucked under the
forward deck strap ?
After 2 days studying the picture the following answers emerged, A paddle
shaped war club, a piece o, antler _
some kind off outrigger system, a simple tube or thong off skin ?
