Subject: baidarka R: picture found

I saw the museum 3 times. The only items tucked forward were:
spare paddle, harpoon, seal harpoon line spool.
Other things were kept asid or aft :throwing stick for seal harpoon or
smaller flying objects (bird harpoon, other kinds of harpoons, lines hooks).
in order to throw the harpoon with the stick , the man did a sculling brace
transverse to the rear - mid section of the kayak with one arm, having one
of the blades supported by his shoulder, in order to have equilibriumn while
putting all his energy in throwing the harpoon which had (eye judgement) 5-6
pounds weight at least.
