A friend of mine launched the same kayak this spring. I think it's a=20
great boat, much like my own Seguin, which is a little bit beamier, 21=20
1/2 inch, and 17.10, with the same hull shape.
I'd say that if you have easy access to flat water to get used to its=20
"tippy" tendencies, persevere. You'll be rewarded. If you have to master=20
a lot of waves and wind every time you're out, get a beamier kayak for=20
your first season, and don't forget looking forward to paddling your=20
Greenland style kayak!
