I can't imagine navigating around the Pacific in a square rigger without
knowing what 10 knots looks like... Andrew, are you using a GPS to check
your speed? Seems to work really well, even for short distances. Of
course, it stll leaves me back here while Lew disappears into the horizon...

I have been doing all my boat building outdoors under a lean-to canopy,
which is how I made a 20 foot double with only a 20 foot garage.
